Author Guidelines

Rising Island Journal for Legal, Economic and Social Studies publishes duly peer-reviewed research findings, studies, reports, and letters. It presents articles in the fields of economic, legal, and social sciences. Articles may be written in Arabic, English, or French, but must include an abstract in English. Authors undertake not to submit their article to another journal while it is under evaluation.

The original submitted article, not exceeding 20 pages, must be typed in Word format on A4 paper, double-spaced, in Times New Roman font (size 12), with 2.5 cm margins on all sides.

The manuscript should generally include the following, in this order:

1. Title page, which must include:

• The title of the article, which should be as clear and concise as possible;
• The names of the authors and their affiliations;
• The full address and email of the corresponding author.

2. Abstract page, which must include:

• The title of the article;
• An abstract not exceeding 250 words;
• Keywords (6 maximum).

3. Acknowledgements — where applicable, to be inserted at the end of the article.

4. Bibliographic references — these must follow current academic research standards appropriate to the discipline (APA style, 7th edition).

• Bibliographic references must be presented in Times New Roman, size 12. Authors’ surnames, first names, and publication dates must be shown in bold and in capital letters.

5. Figures — illustrations submitted for publication must be of digital quality with a minimum resolution of 300 dpi. They must be numbered in the text using Arabic numerals in parentheses, and each figure should be as self-explanatory as possible. Captions should be grouped on separate sheets.

6. Tables — these must be included within the manuscript and numbered using Arabic numerals in the order in which they appear in the text.

Manuscript Submission

Authors are invited to submit their article electronically by email to the following address: risingislandjournal@gmail.com, combining text, figures, and tables into a single Word file.

Manuscript Evaluation

Articles will be reviewed by referees appointed by the Scientific and Editorial Committee, and authors will be notified of the acceptance of their article along with its approximate publication date. A set of proofs will be sent to the author for correction. For articles with multiple authors, the proofs will be sent to the person listed first (the corresponding author), unless otherwise indicated.

Submission Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements:

• The submission has not been previously published, and it is not currently under consideration by another journal (or an explanation has been provided in the Comments to the Editor).
• The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements described in the Author guidelines.
